Terms of service.
These terms govern your use of Routeser. Purchases are sold by Paddle as merchant of record, and Paddle's buyer terms cover the transaction itself; these terms cover your use of the service. Last updated 12 August 2026.
Agreement
Who this agreement is between
"Routeser", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Routeser service. "You" means the individual or organisation using it. Using the API or the console means you accept these terms.
Notices to us go to dpa@routeser.com. Notices to you go to the email address on your account.
Service
What Routeser does
You send an image or PDF together with a schema describing the fields you need. Routeser returns JSON in that shape.
You are responsible for the documents you send, for having the right to send them, and for the credentials that authenticate your requests. Keep API keys server-side; anyone holding a key can spend your credits.
Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF. Requests outside your plan's page-credit allowance are refused rather than silently billed.
Accuracy
Extraction output is model-generated
Routeser does not guarantee that extracted values are correct. Output is produced by machine-learning models and can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken, including on documents that look straightforward.
Every response carries per-field status and evidence so your code can decide what to trust. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
You must not use Routeser output as the sole basis for any decision with legal, financial, medical, employment, or safety consequences for a person. Where output informs such a decision, a human must review it first. You are responsible for that review, and for any decision you take.
Liability
Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Routeser is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use
What you may not do
- Send documents you have no right to process, or that contain material unlawful to possess.
- Send government identity documents, biometric data, health or medical records, or full payment-card numbers. Routeser is not designed for these categories and they may not be uploaded without a separate written agreement.
- Attempt to circumvent page-credit accounting, rate limits, or tenant isolation.
- Probe, scan, or load-test the service without written agreement.
- Resell raw API access as a substitute for the service without a written agreement.
- Use the service to build a competing extraction model from its outputs.
We may suspend access that threatens the service or other customers, and will tell you why when we do.
Eligibility
For business use
Routeser is a developer tool sold for use in a trade, business, craft or profession. By using it you confirm you are acting in that capacity and not as a consumer. It is not offered to consumers, and not to anyone under 18.
You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your API keys secret.
Indemnity
Claims arising from what you send
You will defend and indemnify Routeser against any third-party claim, loss, or penalty arising from the documents you send, your lack of rights or lawful basis to send them, your breach of the acceptable-use terms above, or a decision you took on the basis of extraction output.
This reflects a simple division: we cannot see what you upload or why, and only you can know whether you were entitled to send it.
Billing
Plans, credits and cancellation
Plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle. Each plan includes a monthly page-credit allowance that resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over. Additional credits may be purchased where your plan allows.
You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Ownership
Your documents stay yours
You keep all rights in the documents you upload and in the extracted output. You grant us only the licence needed to process a document and return its result, for as long as we hold it.
We do not use your documents or extracted values to train models. Retention windows are in the privacy policy.
Changes
Changes, termination and governing law
We may change these terms; material changes will be notified to your account email before they take effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Either side may end the agreement at any time. On termination your data is deleted on the schedule in the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Who am I actually buying from?
Paddle acts as merchant of record, so Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles payment and tax, and appears on your statement. These terms govern your use of the service itself.
Do you guarantee the extracted values are right?
No. Output is model-generated and can be wrong. Each field carries status and evidence so your code can decide what to trust, and anything you act on financially should be verified.
Do you train models on my documents?
No. Documents and extracted values are not used to train models. They are held only for the retention windows stated in the privacy policy.
